Wine Tasting in Nevada City

Looking for something fun to do, why not go wine tasting in Nevada City?  Downtown Nevada City has 4 unique tasting rooms, Nevada City Winery, Indian Springs Vineyards, Szabo Vineyard and Clavey Vineyard.  The 5th tasting room for BYOB is located in the Seven Hill Business district.  So whether you’re looking for a flight of wines, a glass or a cheese platter with a bottle of wine, you’re bound to find the perfect spot all within a couple of blocks.  If you want to visit a vineyard, check out Avanguardia Wines or Double Oak Vineyards.  Another great idea is to check out the wine tasting events, either the Nevada City Chamber’s Uncorked event or the Sierra Vintners Wine Trail.  And if you decide you’re in the mood for a beer, go visit the folks at the Ol’ Republic Brewery.
